Hi Everyone! For our designated meeting room we can choose how we want the room set up. Do we want round tables, rectangular “picnic” style tables, or a combination of both?Β Let me know what you think in the comments!Β

I totally forgot about the meeting room! What an awesome perk π
I’m down for any setup that has a split so that the kids can split and run wild. Picnic and round both seem good!
At first I liked theatre because chairs are easy to move out of the way to make a big open space, but then maybe there wouldn’t be enough tables to use. I kind of like U because it leaves an open space in the middle and still has tables for use. But ultimately I don’t think it matters too much as I’m sure we’ll be moving stuff around. So basically we’re choosing round vs. rectangular tables and number of tables.
I get it.
Ushape is a good Idea.
I feel like rectangular tables would be better
better than round
square looks nice and nobody has to turn around. U-shape is kind of worse because it seems like there is a giant open wall on one side so the people across from it won’t have a very nice time when they look forward, although in square you just see your relatives on the opposite side of the table.
As UC/5che said, we will end up moving it all around, and u lets somebody be in the middle. also, we can replace the middle of the u with a round one, so that we have more flexibility.

Mother knows bestππβπ‘π
we should have a jepordy
Rectangular tables! And at least enough for each family to have a table I think
maybe an area in the middle or to the side for those who want to do things while sitting on the floor?
is there an option for something like a chalkboard or whiteboard to hang in the room so we can write down when were meeting up that day or something like that?
We can rent a whiteboard for $15 a day. There are also lots of other things we can rent. I will post a link to the handout so everyone can see and decide if there is anything we want.
Here is a link to the planning guide, you can see a list of things we can rent for our meeting room.
